Our planning

Well...planning...if only it was a party like that...

First some biology: Dogs come into heat twice a year on average and can therefore only have puppies twice a year. The cycle can be very different, short for one dog and long for another, anything between 5 and 12 months. Then there is often a difference between the summer and winter cycle; the winter cycle of the same bitch can be 2 months longer than the summer cycle. Well, that doesn't have to be the case. So those are a lot of variables that you have to deal with as a breeder. To maintain some overview, we keep track of all this on calendars, but often only decide when a bitch comes into heat.

A few things are certain:

*Our females are at least 2 years old when they have their first litter.

*There is at least 1 heat between 2 litters.

*Our girls usually have between 1 and 3 litters (in a very special case maybe 4, but that has not happened yet.)

* As soon as coverage has taken place, this will be communicated via our socials and newsletter [click here] to subscribe without obligation.
